Well, that was my first prom.
It was not a prom for us. I was a junior this year and had only been invited by a senior. He’s a good friend of mine. And his friends kept telling me just how much he liked me. So, I did not want to let him down. And I had a secret thought in my mind for going with him. I planned to find out whether he was a boyfriend material for me after spending a whole night with him.
I had been thinking about the prom dresses and everything I need for it from the moment I got the invitation from him. I wished the first prom turned to be a good beginning for me.
On the prom day, he showed up exactly on time and bought me a gorgeous corsage. All of my roommates were very impressed with him. They kept telling me how handsome he is and everything which they can think of for praising him. With a sober head, I thought I knew how he was clearly.

That night, Cinderella became the happiest girl in the party, as she got the invitation from the prince. She was really radiant with the shinning and elegant evening dresses deriving from the Tree of Wishes. And the most exciting thing was that she could fit in the crystal shoes provided by the prince. That night, all the other ladies were dark and insignificant, even they were all wearing beautiful and luxury evening dresses. But they were stupid and they would never know the reason why they could not fit in those shoes.
My dear Cinderella, she was really so lucky. Even she could not get enough love from the family, she still worked very hard and she made great 
relationship with other people. Every day, she was radiant and optimistic to the difficult life that she could not change in a short time. After supper, my friend suggested to take a walk in the park nearby.
This might be the first time I take a walk after supper since I have got my job. Every night, we would just stay at home and surf on internet for nothing.
Walking on the gravel lane in the park, I felt like I haven’t had such relaxed feeling for a very long time. The fresh air, gentle breeze made us so comfortable.
Then, we heard some music and laughter spread from not far away. So, we followed the voice to the place where many people gathered for dancing.
Though we may can’t call it as a ball, those who dance there all wore their prom dresses, no matter young or old. Though some of them even do not know how to dance very well, they all danced happily there. No one would care whether they mistaken a step or even tread on their partner’s foot. Last night, some of my friends gathered together in my house. It really has been a long time since we last gathered.
Different from the reunions before, this time, the topic is about our jobs.
“I am going to make a scheme for the prom in our company. Can all of you give me some suggestions and ideas about the prom?” Danny began.
“Wow, a prom. I have never gone to a prom before. I do not know what it would like.” Enya sighed.
“Me neither.” I followed.
“You do not have such experience. But you surely heard about it and saw some of it on TV.” Danny insisted, “You must know some part of it. Each one of you offers some ideas, and then I can plan the prom well. This is the first time I can really take in charge of something and show my ability. I want it to be perfect.”

During our Childhood, we all heard about the fairy tale of Cinderella. And from that time on, all we little girls dreamed of becoming Cinderella. We hoped that one day we can put on the most beautiful prom dresses, dance with the most handsome man and become his beloved one.
However, when we grow up and get chances to take part in different kinds of ball, we realized that Cinderella only exists in fairy tale.
Back to the time of our prom for my college life, I dreamed that I can be the most brilliant girl in the prom. However, in reality, there is no magic thing like in the fairy tale. Nobody would give me a carriage, glass slippers and beautiful dresses for the ball. I even could not find some decent dresses for the prom, let alone the most beautiful prom dress.
With great disappointment, I made a wish just as Cinderella did before the ball. The difference is that, Cinderella’s dream turned to be true, and mine didn’t. Since that moment, I knew for full that Cinderella is but a fairy tale.

I have found a part-time job! “Er, what kind of job?” And then was her tactics- force me to guess.
“A singer in a sexy and hot bar? Or a dancer?” Nelly has an excellent sound, and her dance is as well as a professional dancer. But they were wrong. She works in an informal wedding dresses store, and she is assist of photographer. I have ever said she loves taking photos, and now she looks others taking photos, funny!
According to her, there usually are about ten groups of girls coming for taking pictures on weekend and at the time she is busiest. She is responsible to choose and tidy informal wedding dresses for girls and sometimes make a reference for nice postures. But she said she likes prom dresses more. Every time when girls come to photographing, she will offer to undertake to be a helper for making-up.
